Have you ever unloaded your dishwasher and it was like an EXPLOSION of tiny pieces and flipped over cups and bottles?
Yeah. It’s the worst! Especially with baby bottles and lids and all their little bits. I always have to rewash anything that has water left in it.
So one day when Sugarbean was a little teeny thing, snoozing in my arms after a bottle, I was scrolling through Amazon looking for products or tools to assist in mommy life. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular, just seeing what was out there. Low and behold, I came across the Boon Span Dishwasher Net. I didn’t know what it was at first but I sure am glad I bought it!
This little beauty has helped so much in keeping bottles and little cups and lids and bowls from flipping over and flying all over the place. It’s not a necessity but, boy, it is worth it! When I ordered it, it was around $6. Now, about a year later, it’s $9.99. But I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. I use this baby with every wash. When Sugarbean comes to help with dishes, he likes to play with it, too. He likes its stretchiness (is that a word?) and that his fingers fit through the net.
Mama likes that it’s:
- Easy to put on
- Easy to store when not in use
- The best thing to keep cups and bowls from flipping over
- Sturdy – it’s lasted me a little over a year and some 300 washes
- Travel-friendly – I took it with us on two trips to Florida. Squashes up and hardly takes up any space
